If you would like to have a more green and efficient energy supply, there are several companies where "green electricity" powered through, for example, wind or solar power, are used. Here are some of the best companies and tariffs:
Good Energy
Good Energy’s 100% renewable tariff is perhaps the most energy efficient option open to you. It is an independent green energy company which uses 100% green electricity. The price of Good Energy is around 30% higher than the average ‘brown’ electricity on the market, and whilst being the greenest option, it is also the most expensive. British Gas

Ecotricity

Green Energy UK

Utilita
