No more plastic bags, We believe the environment is important and if we are to protect it we need to cut down on how much we depend on plastic. We have spent 4 weeks on Newtown market. We have received positive feedback from shoppers on the subject of banning plastics bags. So far we have collected almost 500 signatures. we are talking to the council to get the next step of the campaign running. We offer advice to businesses information on where they can find supplies and make the transition from plastic to non plastic alternatives.
